Short biography Alessandro Brun
Alessandro Brun was born in Milano in 1973. He grew up in the “beautiful fashion capital of the world”, where his father had a glass-blowing artisan laboratory close to the University Campus (“Città Studi”), and still lives here with his wife and two young children. He fulfilled his dream, becoming Full Professor at Politecnico di Milano – main technical university of the country – where he teaches Quality Management and is Director of Master programs in Luxury Management. Albeit never leaving his hometown, he had a number of experiences abroad, including appointments as visiting professor in almost 20 countries. In 2010, he and Riccardo Tedeschi founded MASQUE, where he is artistic director of the niche perfumery brands MASQUE MILANO and MILANO FRAGRANZE. MASQUE is, for him, the chance to work on what he loves: creativity and art in luxury goods, craftsmanship learned in his father laboratory, embracing diversity of cultures, and apply findings of his scientific research.
